The World Cup starts Friday. So very exciting. Germany and Costa Rica kick off just before noon, giving me time to get plenty of sleep after the casino boat trip Thursday. Maybe I should hit up some kind of sports bar (if any will carry a non-US game) and enjoy worldwide soccer fans' favorite game accompaniment - booze

You know, soccer was invented by European housewives to give their husbands something to do while they cooked dinner?

If you are looking for foriegn games, you'll probably need to find a place where a lot of immigrants hang out. I once accidently got trapped ina bar during a Salvodoran/Dominican match.

I'm actually surprised at how interested I am in those games as well. I think maybe its all the commercials on TV. Maybe I'll get a chance to watch one with you.
