So like, I've fixed up this truck here as best I can, and I get the feelin' it'd be runnin' awesomely if I had any gas for it.

[Ellis is breathing hard as he focuses the video on himself. His cap is off, his hair is mussed, his face is covered in a thin sheen of sweat, but he's beaming in a way that suggests that he is incredibly proud of himself

Yeah, yeah. [He looks a little embarrassed.] Don't figure I'm going anywhere.

[True to her word, she's there a few minutes later and she walks right up to Ellis and kneels down next to him.]

Okay, so tell me exactly what's hurting you and I'll patch you up.

[She can already tell she'll have to heal his broken arm, but she's sure there's more stuff she'll have to do.]

[His arm is definitely broken, and there are scrapes and cuts of various intensities on his person -- most noticeably, one on his leg where blood is starting to soak through.]

I appreciate it, girl, really. I think some of my ribs might be cracked.

Alright. Let me close the wound on your leg first and then I'll heal your arm and rib. It'll just take me a few seconds.

[She moves closer to his leg and rips the material around the wound away (though it was already a bit ripped from the impact). She holds her hands above the injury and channels her chakra into them, creating a greenish glow around her hands. She works at stopping the bleeding and closing the wound.]

[These sort of injuries are some of the easiest and it only takes her a minute or so to heal the cut on his leg. She's gotten a little blood on her hands, but she's not concerned about it at all.]

There, that should feel better. Now I'll take care of that arm of yours.

[Ellis makes a low noise of gratitude -- it really does feel better, but it's such a weird, tingling sensation that he barely knows how to describe it.]

Do I owe you for this?

Of course not. I'm simply doing my duty as a medic nin.

[She moves onto his arm and begins the healing process all over again, mending the bones back together. This takes a little longer than the cut on his leg, but a few minutes pass and Ellis' arm is as good as new.]

It might be a little stiff for a day or two, but it will go away on its own.
