I got a reader this past Jan. with Christmas money (thanks in-laws). I will happily pay the same price for a digital book that I pay for a hard copy. I agree that it has to be worth the same money. However, I do not like to pay a premium to buy an e-book. Even though I have huge storage issues, (if not for my Sony reader, I would have 130 more books to do something with...) if a publisher wants $14 for an e-book, when the same book is at Target in mass-market paperback for $7.49, I'll go buy the paper book. I'd rather have the e-book. I'll pay $7.49 for an e-book. I won't pay MORE.

I totally agree Jim.
Thank you for sharing. The story trumps all. it overcomes the format it comes in, be it oral, paper, electronic or visual. It even overcomes bad writing if the story is great enough.
:)
Thank you for sharing,
