CONTEST IN SECOND PARAGRAPH

I'm totally leaving for New York tomorrow night at, like, 10. If we crash, my friends have first dibs on the looting of my room. So you know, I'd prefer a more somber, organized looting as opposed to a free-for-all. Something dignified, please. one of my favorite things I did while in New York was riding the subway. Ride it all day long and you'll see tons of odd people--during the rush hours, it was just interesting to watch everyone packed into the little metal car bursting the typically American measures of "personal space" bubbles--everyone with blank expressions on their faces, zoned out, yet bumping butts, hips, arms, etc. It was like a weird night club but no one wanted to participate and they all thought they were the last people on earth. Yet, public transportation is like this in general everywhere, I suspect. Except Italy. Nope, in Italy they make a point to grope you and it's on purpose ( ... )
