I'm fine.

As I was driving home tonight, 6ish, I noticed chest pain. So, rather
than continue home, I stopped at the emergency room. My, but it's
amazing how quickly bureaucracy happens when you utter the
magical incantations of "chest pain" and "dizziness".

Glad to hear it wasn't a heart attack. I hope they quickly and painlessly determine what it was and that it turns out to be nothing serious.

I applaud your denying denial and taking the right steps. I'm sure the insurance company will be rejecting the bill soon.

About a month before my surgery, after the first long walk of the spring, I had an incident of mild crushing chest pain, like a 20 lbs weight was on my chest. I just rested and it went away. They scheduled me for a stress test since I needed one for the surgery and they told me I was the healthiest person they had seen take the test.

Eeeeeeeee. Glad it wasn't a heart attack! That must have been very scary for you. I hope they do find out what it was!
