I just got back from a trip to LA. It was my mom's 50th birthday, so my dad got the genius idea of taking her down to visit her grandparents, and incidentally visit Disneyland, which is also having a 50th anniversary (seriously my dad is a genious). Man, that is really romantic. I've been hearing/seeing so much of bad parenting (not my own, thank goodness) lately, it's really nice to hear bits and pieces of good times among families.
