I have just purchased a ticket to go see Richard Cheese & Lounge Against The Machine live at the Red Devil Lounge on the 28th. There's another show in the area, but it's already sold out, so I snapped up a ticket for this one as soon as I heard about it. Anybody wanna come with me?

The show before him costs $10, the show after costs $3. Why in sam's hell would Richard Cheese be charging $50 a ticket? Isn't he still basically a nobody, or is he now world famous for his dumb schtick?

I might pay $25 to see him in a place I liked, and would see him in a dive for anything under $20, but there's no way in hell I'm paying $50 to see richard cheese at some place I've never heard of whose main attraction seems to be washed up one hit wonders from the early nineties. Yes, Dada and Fastball have played your club. Good job.

There's noise on his website to the effect that this is his farewell tour, and he's never gonna tour again. The ridiculous price may also reflect the other sold out show. It is a mystery. Or maybe he's just used to vegas prices.

Regardless, not worth the money IMO. Though I would love to see him if it wasn't ridiculously expensive.
