OK last minute info for the party:

Buses: 4 and 56 stop 'BD' (I think) near the barbican is opposite the pub.

Tube: Barbican is the nearest one, turn right out of the tube towards the London Museum.

8-3 Come early as Sally and I have a rather large bar spend to make up :).

Today's news:

I am ready and prepared for the excess that is to be tomorrow. (I think)

I just put in a claim for £692.38 on my travel insurance.

You'd think I couldn't lose stuff/injure myself to that extent, seems I can.

To whom it may concern, I'm back from Canada, it was great and I spoke a lot of very bad French. The wedding was very very beautiful, lots of blokes in full dress uniform was strange though.

I shall be trying to get over my Jetlag using the tried and tested methods of drink and debauchery. Any drink and debauchery going on this weekend?

Well I'm off to Quebec for a friends wedding for a week and a half on Monday. Which should be fun, Although my schoolboy French is OK for shops and ordering stuff in bars/restaurants anyone know somewhere I can download a decent few french lessons on mp3? As I fear I may need to make some conversation :(.

PS Lyssa's birthday rocked my world :)

Well I'm off to Dublin for the weekend for work. Now I know there has to be some sort of scene over there, but I have no clue as to where this might be. I could do my usual trick of wandering round till I see someone dressed in black and ask them where to go, or I could ask you guys....

Well my sweet old mum is coming to visit at the weekend. Which is all very nice and good, except that the tempoary bed that I currently have in the flat is getting taken away tomorrow, and the bed I have ordered which was supposed to arrive tomorrow is not now coming till Monday ( Read more... )
