With whom do you stay in the Bay Area? I look forward to meeting you!

Hiya
I'm staying with Glenn Glazer in Santa Cruz and Jay Kinney when I get into San Francisco.
I'm hoping to get to the BASFA meet on 19th August. You going to that?
Kind regards
Jim

No, I have never been to a BASFA meeting. Don't know that crowd at all. But I know Jay very well, so I'll check with him on social doings. Great! Safe travels.

I've only recently met Jay, (inthebar) but he seems a really nice guy. I'm looking forward to meeting him when I get to the Bay area.

Pen and notebook? Just to jot down stuff for your report.

Beeblebear?

Good point - Always handy to have old technology as backup. It'll also be handy to have pen and paper to amuse myself with when we're doing take-off and landing and tablets and that aren't allowed.
I'm not intending to take Beeblebear. it'll get into fights and possibly have me thrown out of the country so am playing it safe and leaving it chained to a vat of jinnantonix in the cupboard (I've told it that it's a night club and that dark and quiet is the new Zeitgeist in dance venues).

Pity about the beeblebear. One of those would probably fetch quite a bit in a fan fund auction, which, sadly, fanzines generally do not.

That's a shame about fanzines not fetching much at auction. I'll have to hope then that I might be able to convince people to take them off my hands on the trip around. I posted a list of them in an elist and Curt Phillips is already interested in two of them.
Beeblebears cost 30 pounds now (46 dollars) - do you think we could get more than that for them?
