Exams done! Today I took my last exam of the semester, now I'm free for two whole weeks *______________* I'll spend this time doing nothing because I have no money D: you can help me buying something from me, be it
JE concert goods,
official shop photos or any of
my DVDs posts *ad time finished*
Exams went well. Not perfect, of course, but good enough. My mark in Japanese is 5'7/10 *sad* I have a better level but I got lazy and my professor do not understand my perfectly done sentences on essays so this. I must say I also didn't the oral presentation, so my total mark could only be under 8. So 5'7/8. Looking this way is not that bad. Anyway, I'll do better next semester ^^
I passed Reverse Translation! The translations' marks were too low, not only for my group but everyone. Most of them were fail. That prof is a b*tch, she spent half of the semester sick, so we had NO idea about how to do them nor the results. Just perfect. We were lucky enough to have a practical part, the documentation part was the best marks we got. Almost all of them were 10! So fail + perfect = girigiri pass. Next.
Japanese translation, what I can say about that subject? Teacher hates me a little, so she never gave me more then 7'5/10, even when the translation was better than that. So I was glad to find a 8 in the first exam of the semester. She could give me a 9 perfectly, but no, she decided for a 8. Ok, it's something. I still don't know the mark for the second exam (I took it last Tuesday), but I guess it's another 8. This teacher tends to put the same mark, to avoid calculating arithmetic mean .____. *true story* I guess that'll be one of my best marks *sad again*
Computer science applied to Translation was another of my best subjects. We got great marks in pair projects (10, 8'8, 8'3) and we did a decent work on the last project/exam we did last Wednesday. I'd pray for a 9, but it'd be too much. Damn macros! If only my laptop could do them right ¬¬
And the last one, the one I'm most afraid of: Theory of Translation. I'm retaking this one (last year I failed with a 4'6/10 ;___;) and I only attended 2 classes. Yeah, my fault >< This one exam was divided on 3 sections, each one of them on a different day. We did the first one last Monday; the second on Wednesday; today was the last one. I hate it, really. We could take the exam with notes, but still it's hard. They give you a quote and you must decide which of the theories daid that and defend your opinion. I suck at these things, really. I took up translation because I didn't want to write texts myself, just converting one text to another language. No more no less, just passing information. So writing reflections on an exam is not something I like. Well, it's already done, on Valentine's Day I'll know the final mark. Nice day to choose.
Next semester I only have 4 subjects, so I'll have plenty of free time. Furthermore classes are on noon, so I will wake up late~ Classes are Japanese, Japanese Translation, Japanese Translation Seminar and Specialized Direct Translation. Japanese everywhere. I'd study everyday because I'm losing my skills D: I resumed just today magazine's translations, it'd be nice to reach my desired level soon... bah, that won't happen until I go there to study :/
Forget about studies, you are on vacation!
Btw, it's already 31st on Japan so...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY YABU!!!!
22 is a GREAT age, I hope he enjoys it a lot and we could meet soon~ At first I didn't like you that much, but lately you got a place in my heart and I want to wish you the best :) and stop teasing members, you are annoying! XD With love to our beloved leader♥
On a random note, I changed my layout! I still think it's really bright and I'd change some details here and there, but it's nice enough as it is now. I'll have the same until summer because it fits LMAO I also put two more icons (Yuya, of course) but I'll change them soon too. I'm undecisive, I'm sorry! XD
