Themed Challenge?

May 07, 2007 22:01

Hello again. :) I thought I might attempt to strum up some activity in various communities and thought, "hey, I should start with mine!"

SO! Would you guys be interested in a weekly/biweekly challenge, where a theme is issued and we all write for it and the winner chooses the next theme? Something like theavatar100 and avatar_flashfic, except for Zuko, Jin, and Zuko/Jin ( Read more... )

I would! Some activity would be awesome! My mind is blank at the moment, but if I have any suggestions I'll be sure to let you know!

I think a bi-weekly event sounds real cool. I'm still working on those themes you posted up before...

But you're right. Zujin needs more! It can never have enough! You can never get enough ZukoxJin!!

As for challenge ideas? Err...

There's plenty of stuff out there. We could pick episodes, characters, and other outside sources to write ZuJin. :)

I'm too lame to do my own themes! I suck!

I mean, you're right. I should do those themes too. I could attempt 1sentence challenges with them or something. *g*

Anyway! More Jinko for all! I just hope more people respond. I mean, I'll probably do it either way, but it would be nice to know if everyone was interested in it. *G*

Weekly theme would be great. Anything to wake us all up a little (I blame the lack of new episodes)

I always like when fanartists and fanficcers join forces and collaborate. So maybe an artist draws the scene, and the writers write a fic to go with it.

I blame the lack of new episodes and it doesn't help that Jin, in all her glory and awesomeness, was only in one episode. that should make us want to write more, right?

What an excellent idea! I would enjoy being either the artist or ficcer in such a collaboration. I, uh, have no idea how to set that up...waitaminute! What about selecting a piece of artwork, linking it here (with the artist's permission!) and seeing what everyone comes up with?

Although I really like the collaboration idea too. Hmm, decision, decisions (or both?!).

The only problem with collabs is if one person has trouble finishing.

We could do a request gift enchange of ficcage and art. Like the members would request stuff and then people would pick up the requests. :3

Whoahoho, gift exchanges are skeery and they have the same problem collaborations have - people not being able to finish their part.
