Just got back from watching Babel at the movie theater. Had no idea what it was about. I recommend it. It's not Hollywood. Think "Happiness" or "Story telling" as for the slightly awkward drama, but not nearly as intense with the awkwardness.

I've seen "Happiness." I'd call that intensely awkward drama.
I haven't seen "Storytelling." Is it similar?

Yes, Story Yelling is indeed as awkward. If you liked Happiness for it's awkardness, you'll like story telling. It's 3 (maybe 4?) short stories.
