Some might say that when bacteria are lurking in one's sinuses making one's life miserable, it's not the time to feed them additional sugar. Those people (1) are not as miserable as I and (2) probably didn't just get second-tier antibiotics to help kill this thing.

I want a mountain bar now. Even though I sometimes see them in the grocery stores in Seattle, they are somehow indelibly linked in my mind with road trips to see relatives in Oregon or Idaho, presumably acquired from truck stops.

Yeah, I think truck stops and such are more likely to have local candy than the larger stores are. I grew up near a little local convenience store, so I had constant exposure!
