Been making things! A few people have asked about how pottery is going, and the answer is, extremely well. I'm very happy with my instructor and the fact that he's now teaching on Saturday mornings instead of when I ought to be at work. Last term I lost a few pieces in new and interesting ways, but I did come out with one pie plate of the three

Oh, beautiful work! I particularly love that second one, with the stars dripping like icicles on the eaves of heaven.

Thank you! That's the pie plate; maybe I should figure out whether the star-dripping will add any ineffable sweetness or savor before I start making pies in it. :)
