I'm still writing the scene leading up to the final big battle. Actually, I'm already in the final battle scene; I'm just still trying to write up to the final punch...and I feel the story is dragging a little. It might have something to do with the fact that I couldn't wrap up this rewrite before June started.
So, the current deadline is to wrap up this rewrite by tomorrow--which seems possible--then give myself a day or two break before a quick read. If the story flows then, I'll either show it to the reader or start on the revision.
I must say, I'm writing slower than I'd like to... That or perhaps I'm trying to cram too much.
