Ohhh this is so sweet (': You weren't kidding about fluffy. The imagery is reeeeally pretty. My favorite lines:

When she grazed her lips against his palm and breathlessly called out “Jinki,” he saw her for the first time as young woman about to bloom, ready for a lover, rather than as a girl who needed a guardian.

and

...the gently-swaying press of their bodies in the summer twilight sea breeze.

Just really captured that dreamlike, idealized first love experience, where everything seems perfect and pure and like it carries extra weight. Also, I have to admit that palm-kissing gets to me a TON because I'm huge on hands in general and using them to express emotion is a hidden trope for me. Picturing that made me a bit gooey. And even the sexual references seemed innocent. Jinki as the protector-turned-chivalrous-lover is like a modern fairy tale. This is so adorable! I feel like I have to watch another Lunew duet now.

Thank you for the lovely feedback. This just popped into my head one day. Not my usual style, but I wanted to try love/sex without actually writing smut.

It made me a little sad when I saw the recent award show fancam of Onew and SHINee playing around with Amber, with zero interaction with the other f(x) members. I hope it was just decorum, not alienation.

You're very welcome ofc. It's a nice style, kind of...soft? If that makes sense. It's hard to write about sex in abstract terms I think so well done on that.

As far as the awards, I tend to think it's probably not alienation, but just that he's kind of comfortable joking with Amber. I mean they've horsed around before which is unusual for guys and girls to do, so maybe the tomboy image helps there too. I noticed in those fancams he didn't interact with many people outside of SHINee for very long so I think he was just a bit in his own world maybe? (:
