My Euro / American Trip Thus Far...

It's been hard to find a moment to post an update about things going on.  There has been so much!

But I must say, I am having such a wonderful time.  I arrived in Amsterdam on Friday the 16th in the morning and we headed directly to Best from there.  That is the current temporary location that Steve was staying at until moving on the 21st of ( Read more... )

Great pictures! I'm glad you've enjoyed yourself thus far, besides the strep throat. Apparently it's a global epidemic, since it's raging through my household (and my body) at the moment as well. Glad you're doing better.

Hugs back atcha!

Thanks. I am having fun taking them. I'm not quite as thorough as Dan, but I do my best. I'm always running around.

I almost always have some kind of throat infection in the early winter and at this time each year. It's not always strep, but I have always been susceptible to getting it. Had it all the time as a kid. I wish I had my tonsils removed. I don't think it would happen quite as often. I almost never get sick from anything else.

Since I tried to reply twice earlier, and they STILL haven't shown up....and you seemed to have had trouble as well.

My tonsils were removed when I was around ten. Didn't seem to do me a bit of good, as I've still been extremely susceptible to all kinds of upper-respiratory crap as well as bronchitis. Growing up with chain-smokers didn't exactly do me much good either. My dad STILL tells me I ought to start smoking because HE never gets sick. Asshole. It'll take every ounce of restraint I DON'T possess not to throw that one back in his face when he's dying of lung cancer, as his mother did. Though he expects to die of a heart attack before it comes to that.

Did you find that you got sick less often when you were living in CA?

I really wanted to have the Fondue myself. I thought that looked divine. So far I haven't been making anyone else's throat sore. Course, I haven't been kissing anyone since arriving in California either. Perhaps I should look up my old girlfriend Becka while I am here.

I sorry Ba-Bauren. I am only here for a few days, and I knew I wouldn't have time to make it down to Reseda. And I wouldn't want you to go out of your way to try to make it up here.

Not to worry though, I will be out again in the summer, and I plan on coming down to see you, Bethany and the baby.
