Awesome! Hey, you should listen to WAAM streaming this morning. I'm sure that Lucy Ann wil eventually be talking about Spidey III. You could call in and talk about it when she does.
Very cool! Can't wait to see it. I think Rob & I will be going to see it tonight or tomorrow night. We're geeky enough for opening weekend but not quite enough for the initial midnight showing. ;~) (Well, that and the fact that he has to be up at 4 for work and I have to be up with the kids by 6:30. Blech!)
And didn't Mary Jane, Gwen and Betty Brandt look great!?!!
I love the costumes they put Kirsten Dunst in. They fit her figure, but also the character. As a "waitress" she looks even better than as a "stage actress."
I did think the cheese factor was quite high in the Pete with the symbiote scenes, but it never reached the cheese of the Clooney and Kilmer Batman films. I'll be seeing this film again, and getting the DVD when it comes out.
Dang did Thomas Hayden Church get buffed out! He always seemed small in other roles. Of course you gotta buff up to become a comic book villain, unless you're "The Vulture." Who would you cast in that role?
I liked that scene where Parker and Brant almost kissed! That was kinda hot.
I think the cheese factor was quite deliberate when it came to Parker and the symbiont. Showing that this was as bad as Peter gets when he is joined with symbiont. He did say some rude stuff to Harry that really bummed me out. But that is the tale of Parker's life. Tons of regret and lots of guilt.
Church was super buff! I couldn't get over it. He was really good too. And under utilized. He had lots of depth. Venom was outright scary! As a kid, that thing would have freaked me out.

For "The Vulture" I would choose DJ Qualls.

What about Christopher Plummer? Brodie suggested him.
