Oh this is an excellent bit of research. How interesting! I think you're right about the type of style Bodie has, here.

Heh, 70s hair style development definitely was 'adventurous'.

I think I see this Bodie style through 'only he could get away with it' goggles, in the same way that not everyone could get away with some of the sassier Audrey Hepburn cuts.
