Thanks! I`m not sure quite how things will work out but NY just isn`t my home anymore I`m afraid.

Thanks! I`m not quite certain where is best for me, but at least I`ve ruled right here out.

And I'm afraid I don't have the answers. I'm at ease in the US and in Japan but it's who I work for or what my job is that determines my sense of happiness. I'm happy with where I am now. I can only hope the same happens for you - wherever and whenever that may be.

But I do get the wanderlust something fierce every now - if only I was rich so I could go to all the places I wished to go! (Like London, Paris, Japan again, even Australia!)

It`s weird, because like I said, there`s a lot of stuff I DO enjoy and like about NY and being here. But none of it makes me feel comfortable living here. It`s not any one thing, but I know how I felt living where I was in Japan, and how I feel here, and that tells me that this isn`t the place for me.

Good luck with your Foreign Service Officer Test! I was excited about you coming back, but if you're not happy, by all means, don't stay here.
