It's confirmed, Rhian Ramos will play the role of Jodi in Pinoy ver. of Stairway to Heaven. Pwede ba! tigilan na ang paggawa ng mga pinoy versions ng mga kdramas kung iibahin rin lang nila ang plot. At saka bakit si Rhian na naman? Wala na bang ibang artista? Stairway to Heaven is a heavy drama. And for me, Rhian's 2nd name shld be "Kenneth", as in

ako din i feel sad when we remake dramas. parang can't we have our original dramas naman? and you know naman how loyal i am to abs so naiinis pa ako lalo when gma does it, hahaha.

Sure thing. I really can't believe that they (tv stations) can't think of a new concept. They have lots of remakes and such in which they GREATLY changes the story and kept it far, far way from the original. Take Lalola for example.

I remember seeing some scenes, while I watch Smallville online, that some of them are kinda imilar to Captain Barbell. This kind of thing made some people mad.

Have you already seen the trailer for GMA7's Stairway to Heaven? They also started as kids. Why do they love to make series start from kids?

I wonder if sometime, they take some plot from Dexter episodes....

I am a fan of the original Stairway to Heaven and I can see some of the scenes from the original similar to this one. As for what I saw, it is still acceptable.

I watched the first wk of telecast 'coz Rhian is not in the scene yet. Yes, exactly the same on the original drama. I stopped watching the succeeding episodes but my friends who watch it says it's good but still, Rhian acting is not good and disappointing. Hopefully, the writer won't mess up the story 'til the end 'coz GMA dramas usually messed up towards the end of the drama w/c kinda sad.
