News Service: Bhutto killed | Suicide attack
Today, at 6:19 Pakistan time, ex-Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto died after being badly wounded by a suicide attack during the election rally in the city of Rawalpindi. Weird Moments for Wingers (aka Memorable D&D Moments) #1
For those who didn't know, I now play Dungeons and Dragons with the strange gamer group in Jakarta. This is just one of those moments. Key's Work
What depresses (and keeps me on my feet) about Key's work (be them Air, Kanon, or Clannad) is that you really can't tell if someone will die or not. I mean for Air, the only person that died is the main girl character... and even when she died, I was going like "No way! Complaint
I just got back from Bali. It was nice. Jakarta, on the other hand, wasn't. I spent more time in my car on the way to my house from the airport than I did in the airplane. I feel there's something fundamentally wrong with that... Will post about Bali and pictures of said place later.... after I lose badly in the Warhammer 40k tournament. -
News Service: Pakistan's State of Emergeny | Media Blackout
General Pervez Musharraf, Pakistan's president, has imposed emergency rule in the country.
State-run television reported on Saturday that the country's constitution has been suspended.
Reuters news agency also said that Iftikhar Chaudhry, the supreme court chief justice, has been told his services are no longer required.
