Every now and then someone in the village hosts a bloody great party, just for the hell of it. Usually, it's us or our neighbours immediately behind us. This weekend it was our turn: after our last event (a 70s-themed night) the obvious choice was an 80s night... So Katherine and I sorted out our 80s music collection (with all the compilations

Ooh she'd slap you for that! ;-) No particular character, she just dressed up in some of her original 80s stuff, with big hair. Very big hair. I bought some crimpers specially and she got through a load of mousse and half a can of "freeze hold" hairspray... :-)
