...and by "new" I of course mean "new to me" since I'm sure that some of you are already aware of this guy.

IAMX comprises Chris Corner, previously of Sneaker Pimps (who I've heard of but not, as yet, heard). Came across the link via the Soho Dolls, who will be supporting IAMX in Europe next month ( Read more... )

They are playing on 26th November at Kings College as well (which i hope to go to)...

Saw them earlier in Islington but would like to see them again :)

Yup, and Soho Dolls are supporting...
..would love to go, but it's a challenge on a Monday evening. Not impossible, just a challenge... Best bet might be to drive down to Redbridge then take the tube to Temple - might *just* be able to make it for the 8pm start!

What were they like? All I've got to go on is the music on the MySpace page.

They are very good and CC has a lot of stage presence :)

And i'm rediscovering Sneaker Pimps as i must have switched off after getting the first album which to all intents and purposes is a different creature (featured a female on vox rather than Mr Corner) ;)

As soon as I saw the silhouette I flipped tabs, so I could listen to the music without getting annoyed by the outfit...
