Feed me music!

Help - I'm lacking music at work! :-( I've only got a few CDs ripped onto this machine, and I'm running out of inspiration on MySpace (if I listen to IAMX too much more I'm going to get bored of it!).

So - feed me inspiration and new links... I'll add mini-reviews of anything I manage to have a decent listen to. (Check out my MySpace friends

I was just pointed at A Place To Bury Strangers. They claim to be the loudest band in New York, which they may or may not be. A right bunch of Eighties throwbacks - in that they sound like Psychocandy, feedback included.

Hmm, interesting... My instinct is to liken them to some of the late-80's/early-90's indie & Madchester sounds - but with extra noise. "Ocean" is definitely making me think of The Stone Roses.

...unfortunately I never really got into any of that stuff (didn't dislike it - it just didn't catch me) and so A Place To Bury Strangers are similarly not quite getting me going - sorry (but thanks for the heads up)! :-)

That's odd, because in general I loathe those baggy Madchester bands . . .

"Ocean" is definitely making me think of The Stone Roses.

. . . especially the Stone bloody Roses.
