Tonight I took a class at The Vinery on how to make glass ornaments, it was a fantastic time. We started out with a brief demo and then we were ready to go. You took a thin glass tube that had a small bulb on the end and put some small flecks of colored glass in the bottom of the little bulb. The torches were all mounted to a table so you could use

I did that back in December and really enjoyed it! I wanted to get some studio time shortly after to do some more but they were out of the small bulbs because of the holidays.

Now I want to take one of the longer courses where you can make lots of different things. I just need to gather enough money to work that out.

I got something fragile in the mail and I liked how it was wrapped: with tissue in a small box, and then that box inside a large box with packing popcorn in between.

I think incorporating your welding knowledge and stained glass would make some really neato things and stuff.
