I ran out of petrol today! This is mildly exciting as it has never happened to me before (I never let it get below 1/4 tank). Anyway, I have been very busy pootling here and there and didn't notice it was quite so empty. And I now have the answer to a question sometimes wondered: No, I do not have a fuel light

I have a fuel meter, a light and a third one that tell me kms left. But that didn't help when I trusted the wrong one. The fuel meter said almost empty, the light where on but the third one told me it would last another 150 kms so I hoped it would be enough for a 70 km trip. It didn't and the engine stopped when the meter said it was 100 kms left. Fortunately it was downhill so I could let the car keep on rolling to the nears pocket and use the spare can.

Oops! At least now you know, same with me, I always wondered if I had a fuel light or not.
