Hey look, it's the all-new "friends only: who the hell are you?" post. Tell me a bit about yourself if you want in; otherwise, your chances are slim. Cheers.

Hi, I'm Gordon. People associate me with cheese.

Hi! I can't tell you who I am for I have no certainty of anything, but on some levels you know more about me than my own family. Let's be friends!

Let's!

Oh, and, you want some pointless information? I think tomorrow is the two-year anniversary of when we first met in person. Whee!

Your memory for dates never ceases to amaze me. Two years eh? Doesn't feel like it. On the one hand it feels like I've known you a lot longer (which of course I have) and on the other it feels like it was yesterday when we were sitting at that beach bar (but this was the day after), not managing to conduct a conversation all that fluidly. I remember you mentioned going to spend Christmas in London, and I wanted to talk about it and all the associated topics but had no idea how to go about it without being intrusive. I hope I didn't come across as uncaring or disinterested, it wasn't that at all. Ooh look, two year old awkwardness issues!

Oh, bless! I remember that it was a little awkward that day. But not bad. It wasn't you at all, it was more the whole "oh look, here we are, isn't this unusual?" kind of thing. Which we've clearly got past. Which is great! So, you can bin the two year old awkwardness issues, we don't need them no more.

Hi, I'm Lily. I take my clothes off for money. And I'm also a secret proper actress, textile artist and writer... and a million other things. We know each other because you're an amazing activist and I'd secretly like to be you. Is that justification enough? ;) x

Though we have been Lj-buds for a while now, don't know how long exactly, perhaps 3 years, we've never had any formal introductions. I'm Nate. I like to travel and always want to be someplace other then where I currently am. I have a deranged obsession with the Middle East and perhaps spend more time studying it than I should. I enjoy reading about your work as it's the sort of thing I wish I could do, but never will. I also wish I lived in Edinburgh because it's perhaps the greatest city on Earth.

I don't know if I ever told you but a while back I had this funky dream in which we met in weird life. Don't remember where exactly, at a club or some-such locale. We chatted and that was about it.

I've also drunk too much sake this eve and my fingers seem to be moving upon their own volition.

Psst, I just went and did a friends-locked intro post! Just in case that clears up any gaps.

I am jealous of your travels. Especially Siberia. Also, I don't think I heard about the dream, but sounds cool. You should come back to Edinburgh some time.

Hello *wave*
I'm Grant. We may well have the lovely Jamie as a friend-in-common and I count 9 LJ people we both friend.
I'm more being and thinking than doing right now.
I work in techie stuff, am learning to be a psychotherapist and have been a bit of an activist type for a while around sex, sexuality and relationships. I used to have a boyfriend in Edinburgh so got up there more often than I now do.
Good people seem to appreciate you.
