Online drama = Crazier than real life drama.
Alright, I guess Jack is a bit of a manwhore. No. Strike that. He never intended to be, but has unwittingly stumbbled head-on into full fledged girl drama. There are two girls (Riley & Miranda) who have MAJOR crushes on him (weird?), one girl (Amelie) he kind of left things at odds with, and a pair of girls who he has been genuinely interested in, one who treats him more like a brother than anything (Layla) and one who makes him forget all about Layla (this would be Tessa). Add in the large number of female friends the poor guy has (too many to list... let's see... Maddy, Mannie, Clara?)... dear god. There's not many girls left in the community who aren't friends with him. The boy needs some guy friends. Yeesh. Of course, he doesn't know how to deal, and the one friend he turned to for help turned out to be one of the ones with the biggest crushes on him (Miranda). *Whew* Is it sad and pathetic that I'm so caught up in this guy's fake drama... so much moreso than I am really concerned about my own life? What the eff is wrong with me? And seriously, why has everyone decided that it's "Let's all fall in love with Jack?" month in La Bohemia? That's what he gets for being an attractive, single guy in Alphabet City. *shrug*
I opted out of driving down to Nickee's tonight like I thought I was going to... like I'd been planning on doing. Mostly because I couldn't get ahold of her, couldn't get much of a straight answer out of her one way or another. I know it's not really her fault that she's a grownup-type-person with a husband and a house and a full time job, but I just kind of got frustrated and decided that I didn't really feel like flying by the seat of my pants for once. I wanted things to be planned out for a change. I would also like to point out the trend that I am usually the one who always instigates the visits TO other people, rather than them showing interest in visiting me. That's just for the record, though.
Speaking of planning things out, Pubbslee and I talked today and we're getting really excited about our little roadtrip extravaganza. We're totally gonna hit Route 66 for all it's got. That's something to really get excited about and start planning. Yes. It will be fabulous.
Blah. I continue to feel... blah.
