I FINALLY saw Spring Awakening last night....yay! I have to say it was really awesome. Loved all the music and the actors are phenomenal. Especially Jonathan Groff. And he is an extreme hottie. Last night I audited Michael Beckett's scene study class at HB Studio. It was fantastic! I am so excited to take this class...he reminds me a bit of Alan Langdon, but not quite as scary. Their techniques are similar, except that Michael doesn't really get up and physically make you do something and make you cry (not that I have a problem with that ( Read more... )

 
I took my first dance class at Broadway Dance Center last night...it was so much fun! I think I am going to start going on a regular basis...it's a musical theater dance class that meets twice a week. Last night, we did a dance to "The Rain Song" from 110 in the Shade...I thought that was kind of funny since UT is doing that show right now... ( Read more... )

 
I got cast in my first full scale musical in New York! "Of Thee I Sing" at St. Jean's, November 9, 10, 16, & 17 at 8 pm and November 11 and 18th at 3 pm. Hope all my NYC people can make it!

I recently discovered the treasure trove that is Jack's 99 Cent store in Manhattan. There are locations throughout the city, but the largest (to my knowledge) and most amazing location is at Herald Square. When I was most stressed/worried as a high school/college student is laughable compared to being stressed/worried as an adult.

I wish I was as naive as I was back then. Ignorance really is bliss.
