Cataract Surgery

My first Cataract Surgery (and the after arrive at home nap) is over! Things went very well. There is a slight scratchyness in the eye but that is about all.  If I cover my right eye I can almost read the screen without glasses. According to the van driver I managed to be the only person he knows that felt a brief flash of pain when they inserted

But then people would have expected me to actually talk like a pirate ... which I suck at. :) Today's even better than yesterday - the slight scratchiness I could feel is gon. Now its just some extra fluid in my eye and being unable to rub it.

I'm so glad to hear it all went well. Now you can go into the second surgery a bit more relaxed, eh? I'm happy for you.

That was my hopeful plan. And I'm glad its working. :) I'm actually looking forward to getting past all this and seeing the end product.

My best comment today was to a friend while I was in his car at lunch -- "All the signs have words!" Its been along time since I could read anything from a car during mid-day. And that includes billboards.
