Cataract Surgery

My first Cataract Surgery (and the after arrive at home nap) is over! Things went very well. There is a slight scratchyness in the eye but that is about all.  If I cover my right eye I can almost read the screen without glasses. According to the van driver I managed to be the only person he knows that felt a brief flash of pain when they inserted ( Read more... )

Yay! Glad to hear it all went so well. Pity you couldn't have timed it for talk like a pirate day ;)

But then people would have expected me to actually talk like a pirate ... which I suck at. :) Today's even better than yesterday - the slight scratchiness I could feel is gon. Now its just some extra fluid in my eye and being unable to rub it.

That was my hopeful plan. And I'm glad its working. :) I'm actually looking forward to getting past all this and seeing the end product.

My best comment today was to a friend while I was in his car at lunch -- "All the signs have words!" Its been along time since I could read anything from a car during mid-day. And that includes billboards.
