I had vivid technicolour dreams but it helped to get me over the giant hump of quitting. I had smoked for many years so the risks of this drug were worth it to me. I am still smoke free at 16 months and counting.

Great! I'm certainly glad about that. Do you have to keep taking it or do you get to taper off?

After my quit date I continued taking it for 10 weeks and then went cold turkey without any medication. That was in 2008. I had read the reports of depressive side effects and did not want to experience them. Thankfully I have managed to resist the siren call of nicotine since then.
