Today is one of the lowest points in my life. I've been exposed as a liar and fraud. My honor has been stripped from me by my own hands, my self-respect is gone. People have seen me at my most foul, and it hurts like hell but is completely deserved. It is nessicary, and I have intense regret over my actions

wow... that is a lot to say and a lot to hear.

in the past we have talked about being human. and, the way i see things, all people make mistakes. all people do things they are not proud of. and all people face that time in their life where they must make that choice between facing what they have done, or running from it.

people hurt others who face their mistakes be cause it is easy to kick others when they are down. it makes them feel justified for covering their own mistakes.
but, in my view, people who face it and assume responsibility are far better people than those who do the kicking.

i will not say it is okay, what you did was not a good thing, but to stand up and face the consequences makes a far better impression than the other possibility.

for the record. i am still your friend.

It must have been difficult to come clean, but ultimately you did the right thing..

Well, at least you are coming clean now, and attempting to do the right thing. I cannot villify you for the theft, for almost everyone in my life (myself included) has stolen something at some point.

What saddens me is the heartbreak Jenn is going through over this, and the amount of work you and she have to do now to rebuild if it is possible.

I hope you are able to move on from this experience, rebuild where you can, and start over where you need to. My prayers are (as always) with you both.
