Actor Heath Ledger found dead in his New York apartment.

The first time I read it, I thought it was some kind of an elaborate hoax set up for his role as Joker in The Dark Knight. But this news is everywhere, including sites like CNN. :(

There aren't enough words to describe just how shocked I am over this news. His poor daughter. T_T

Yeah, it's just..... unbelievable. What makes things worse is it seems that it's an accidental overdose. :(

It also seems like a lot of people die from overdosing on those same drugs every year. :[ I feel bad for him.

I feel you, hon. Like you said in your entry, I'm not even a fan of his. I do think he was a great actor and I was sooooo looking forward to his role as the Joker (especially after seeing how awesome he was in the trailer). And now I won't be able to watch the movie without feeling an immense sadness. It's not that it's going to ruin my experience or anything of that bullcrap; it'd just be hard for me to watch someone's brilliance and then realising that he's gone. :(

It's really terrible. I mean, everything was going for him, from what I know.

...Then again, 2008 has proven itself to be extremely strange so far. One of my friends called it "the reaping year".

I really won't be able to watch The Dark Knight without feeling a huge sense of loss. I was so psyched when I saw the trailer the first time over the weekend and I kept nudging Ron and going, "OMG IT'S HEATH LEDGER AS THE JOKER! ZOMG COOOOOOL!!!!" Little did we know....... :(

I mean, I feel bad for saying this, but there are other more destructive celebrities who practically invite death by their doorstep and yet...... why Heath? ;_;
