6 rings.
I guess that's how I should say it. Alot has happened since the last time I posted
The first 4 rings come in pairs. Catie and I decided to both get nipple piercings. We actually just got them changed to barbells just a few days ago. It's been over 6 weeks so we could finally get them changed.
It hurt like hell for her, but not at all for me. We were hoping I could get more feeling in there (I have none) and well... didn't do a damn thing. Still cool to have however. Good times.
Ring #5 is the soon to be keyring for our new home. We have the house inspection Tuesday and then on the 25th we'll be settling. It's a nice place, 4 bedrooms, huge backyard. It's considered a duplex, but it's just connected on the end. So it's kind of like 2 end units put together.
Catie can't wait to move it, but I'm nervous of course. It's going to really test our ability to save money and be frugal with everything we purchase. We've worked out a good gameplan, but we have to stick to it. Time will tell.
And of course I'll have my game room :D The rooms aren't huge, so I'll have to really work on condensing the collection. Things like NES, SNES and GBA cardboard boxes will be traded and sold. They just have no use and I'll have no place to keep them.
I'm also really thrilled that we'll have an extra room that I can turn into an office. I never can concentrate too well in my current room due to it being a clusterfuck here. But with a nice, clean, almost empty room, I can really get some stuff done. And I'll have to, there's going to be plenty of bills to pay.
The last ring is probably the biggest one. The ring I put on Catie's finger. I proposed about a month ago and it was the most awkward thing. I won't go into details about how I did it, but of course she cried. No real date has been set, but depending on how the financial situation is next year, we hope to shoot for fall or winter.
I'm not going to interfere with any of the wedding plans, that's all her deciding. It's not really my big event you know? All I asked is that I pick the wedding cake topper. Something has to be video game themed ;) I've got to find someone who can do it, but I want Alex and Luna from Lunar, it's only right.
I'm off to get some sleep and pack more tomorrow. Might as well start early. Night!
