Now that I have sustained another ankle injury which has spoiled my plans of going to kudremukh this weekend, I have decided
to finally blog about my second outing to Ombattu Gudda two weeks ago!

Dude just reading about this is exhausting!
So what were the techniques employed for making fire again?
BTW the brushing-ur-teeth snap is charming ;)

One of the techniques is shown in one of the photos.
We found some tinder and tried to set it on fire by generating some sparks by using a copper wire (yes! somebody was carrying this) and batteries.
The batteries got overheated and started leaking, but we could not get the tinder to burn.

We also tried to generate it by using wood pieces. There are two standard methods employed. Tried both in vain.

The stone method was also tried :)

(I was the only one to brush my teeth that morning!)

Hopeless fellow!
You slept off after 1.5 hrs!
But I do pity you since u slept with a lot of difficulty without having a sleeping bag!
