It is interesting to realize that my true issue in life has been a constant dissatisfaction with life as it is. I had a clearer thought on that, but it got into my chai, got caffeinated and wandered off. I'll see if I can recapture it later.

Things are going...alright, I suppose. We're still alive and kicking, anyway. The situation we're in still isn't anywhere I want to be, but it's bearable most days. Today has been a relatively productive day. I went grocery shopping with Sha, helped make chicken salad for dinner, and put away most of the laundry. I say most because I try very hard not to hang up Shane's pants. He has a large amount of them, tends to wear double layers, and said pants live in the back of the closet. Pants hangers are -heavy-. Here at my brother's house, a lot of focus is put on conservation. This very much falls into line with my inclinations, and seemed a good time to put some things into practice that I'd been intending to do previously, but never did. I am so damned tired of being in pain. I'm dithering between my last bit of painkiller or a large dose of nyquil tonight...the painkiller helps, the nyquil doesn't exactly help, it does help make my body so tired that I don't -feel- the leg spasms quite as much as I do without it. The dark days are here again. I hate late fall almost as much as I hate winter in this area - it's cold, raining and just plain gloomy.
