I was just sitting here thinking about how much it truly sucks when a break up happens and you lose all those amazing friends you once had. It's like you lose all those people that held your head when you cried and those people that stayed up with you until 3 in the morning consoling you or just chatting on the back porch. I completely understand what you mean. I have lost so many friends that way and it's completely unfair. I don't think people realize how much two people's lives integrate during the course of a relationship. I'm going through a breakup right now and let me just tell you...I feel like I'm breaking up with everyone that I know, too. The same goes for when a friend breaks up with someone. If you are close with one, you can't be close with the other. It's a sad realization knowing you reasonably can't stay as close with the both of them.

Well, I still really, really, really, REALLY want to be your friend. Just so you know.
