Summary: Roy sees Suho and he wants Suho to notice him because senpai kyaaaa~
When Junmyeon appears at the backstage, Roy fidgets. It’s nostalgia all over. He misses talking to him, not that they would always talk to each other in high school, but Roy really adores his senior. He tries to discern if he’s excited or nervous the moment he sees Junmyeon’s face but he soon gives up. He must do something.
Sunbaenim must noticed me again. Roy mumbles to himself. He slowly shoves his guitar to his side so he can rummage his bag and search for his phone. Jesus, where is it?
“Roy Kim! Mr Roy Kim!” somebody calls from the exit so he turns his head and sees Mnet’s official photographer calling him.
“Yes sir?” he quickly asks, somewhat annoyed because he needs to find his phone.
“I heard you and Suho-ssi of EXO went to the same high school?” the photographer asks.
Roy gulps, a very quick flashback of everything he has done in high school. He makes a faint smile and laughs. “Yes, he is my senior. Why?”
“Great! For Twitter. Can I take a photo of you two?” the photographer asks excitedly.
“Wait I--”
“Suho-ssi! Suho-ssi!”
Oh shit. No wait this is too fast for his liking. But then he has rummaged his bag for his phone a while ago so...
But still...
The photographer shouts and calls Junmyeon who is having a conversation with the rest of EXO. The photographer waves his hand, motioning the EXO leader to go to their place. Roy steps back nervously but it’s too late when Junmyeon’s gaze is on him and he smiles.
“Hey Roy! How are you?” Junmyeon asks and Roy cringes slightly when the older places an arm over his shoulder and pulls him closer. “It’s been a long time!”
Roy nervously laughs. “Yes hyung. I’m doing great. How about you?”
“Awesome,” he says. “You still look like a kid,” he jokes, pinching Roy’s cheeks gently. Roy flushes and he can’t stop himself from feeling giddy all over. He holds onto his guitar tightly because he needs support right now.
“Okay! Ready? Just two shots, okay?” the photographer says, raising his hand, three fingers raised and he starts counting. Junmyeon then looks at the camera and smiles. Roy tries to do the same but he sees the photographer’s finger press the shutter release and he is momentarily blinded by a quick flash.
“One more!” the photographer says. It happens too fast and Roy fails to change his expression. “Done!”
“Great! Thank you!” Junmyeon says and bows a little to the photographer. Roy does the same quietly and soon it’s just the two of them.
“So...” Roy mutters, almost silently because he is just too shy.
Junmyeon laughs. “You never changed,” he kids and he ruffles Roy’s hair gently. “I’ll go ahead, okay? See you on stage!”
Junmyeon gives him one final smile and turns around, walking towards Kyungsoo who waves at him by the entrance to the stage.
Roy is stuck in his place almost immovable as he savors what just happened. Sunbaenim noticed me. He had a picture with me. I had a picture with him. Sunbaenim noticed me.
His lips pull to a really satisfied smile.
Oh my god. I need a copy of the photo.

1. I wanted to write smth but idk so this happened.
2. Man this is just word vomit it doesn't really make sense right ugh
3. I... should have written a high school AU instead but meh
