Reconsidering Kansas

I have to say, I did not approach western Kansas with an open mind. First of all, there is nothing in western Kansas but cows and corn. The place I interviewed, Larned, is a town of maybe 1500. It had one stoplight. That's it-one stoplight. On my flight into Kansas, somehow the airline lost my bag. The gate agent said that if my bag came in
