*SQUEE*!!!! In less than two weeks, I get to walk across a stage and have a pretend diploma handed to me, commemorating 10 years of work (sometimes easy, often hard, occasionally heartbreaking). It's odd to think that "popular" kids-the ones who could walk into a room and immediately have people flock to them because they were so handsome/pretty/charismatic/funny/insert other adjective can be just as unhappy as the rest of us. Yes, I know it's kind of a "duh" thing, but every now and then it's brought home to me in such a strong way...

So, there's this job in Century City, FL (outside of Pensacola) that I think I want. It's for the only senior staff psychologist at a male prison of about 1500 inmates. Oh my lord, am I bored! This weekend I stayed close to home for a variety of reasons-friend flaked on me, bad sunburn, apathy, etc. So I was actually glad to go back to work today because I do SO much better when I'm busy.
