I have an updated Baby name poll as my wife pointed out to me that I had forgot to list one of the spellings she had mentioned for the first name, sorry for my mistake :P. Poll Updated Baby Name Poll
I started getting real busy around last October, haven't been online much since, most people haven't heard because of this. I am still fairly busy with it all but I know find some time to go online. So don't worry, lots of people missed the info due to me not getting online much. Thank you.
Now that there's another option I'm changing my mind to the new spelling of Bryton, but sticking with John (close to your name). The first Brighton is better spelling than Bryghton but is a seaside place here, and it reminds me of fish and chips, kiss me quick hats and games arcades ;-)
I am starting to lean more towards that spelling myself, but my mother in law thinks its more feminine. She believes its a female spelling of the name and brighton is the male spelling.
Well I've never heard of the name so couldn't comment about male/female differences. I still like Bryton, but Brighton is good too. John is a great name, strong for a boy.
I like Brighton John :) To be absolutely honest I am not a fan of unusual spellings for then the poor child is doomed to constantly spell their name to people .....but that's just my opinion :) oh and congrats by the way
Dude, you CLEARLY need to post more frequently!!! Congratulations on the wife and baby :) :) :)
As for names, I'd have to say I like Brighton Lee the best, but I feel I must share what my sister (the Spawn of Satan) told me before the birth of her second. She named her first Christian, with NO nickname. When it came time for him to learn writing and how to write his name, that was a lot of letters. She named her second Lacy, nice and short and EASY! I love Brighton, but it would depend on if he'd have a nickname, etc. Or, if you went for one of the Bry- spellings, you could always call him Bry for short. (The y would make the nickname more sensible.)
