See and sociology would just study the effects of categorization (which you touch on with the "smart" and "dumb" kid) and why people feel the need to categorize people in the first place
( ... )
See personally, I think Julia Roberts is completely annoying and weird looking. But that's just me.
I kinda have to agree with you on the IQ thing. My parents intentionally refused to tell me my IQ until I turned 18, just out of fear that it would make me arrogant and weird and kind of a jerk. According to the IQ test they had me take when I was 6, my IQ is 140. Couple this with the fact that now that I'm in college, I feel like a complete moron most of the time. I really don't feel smarter than a lot of people (granted there are a lot of idiots in the world, but that's an argument for another day).
I don't know. The attractiveness thing just seems really strange to me.
