Yes! I did it! I finally finished this dress. Well, it's not 100% more like 99.9999%. We're going to redo the hem and the shirt still needs buttons and I need to find a better book, but other than that this dress is finished.

Wow! You look amazing! You've done a wonderful job, and look very spot on!The hair looks pretty good, you jsut need a bit of practice, and a little more teasing! Try pushing the hair forward as you twist. I had the same problem with my Dorothy hair!

I never imagined the hair would be such a pain. I'll try your suggestions though. I really don't like teasing my hair like that but my hair is so fine it just wasn't working without it.

Heheh hair is always a pain! In some ways it's easier to use a wig :P But you have naturally curly hair right? I'd say rather than teasing it (which can cause awful knots!!) just try back combing it. That way you can control the volume and the mess. But I think if you push it forward as you twist that should work.

Or the other option is to do the twist about an inch from the root of the hair, and that will help push it forward as well. It's jsut going to take experimenting and practice!

I do have natural curls. I will have to try that next time. I think I need to just work with it. Eventually I will get it...I hope lol.

Hey I was wonder, what kind of fabric did you use for Elizabeth's pirate waistcoat. It is just perfect! I've been trying to find some like that but I can't find it anywhere.

Thank you so much! Did you get your shoes at Target? If so, then yep they are the same! They were only $10 so I couldn't pass them up. And they are pretty comfortable.
