it all comes down to what kind of work we choose to go into, ey? if we ever find something we truly love to do every day, im sure doing the same thing every day (relatively) won't be a problem. trouble is finding that dream job =\.

but for me, at this point, anything'd be better than school =X

isn't that why you have life after college, when you're still young and single and possibly rooming with a best friend and all that, only *you don't have to go to classes every day*?

we don't stop changing after college... it's just not marked by june and september anymore, but by other adventures and such.

...not that i'll know, because i will probably be in school forever...

First off, I think EVERYONE would agree [me included] that change is good and necessary. Some people just have issues dealing with the big changes of life. Secondly, your life will be full of these changes as you grow older. You will be fired [or hopefully, quit], you will be promoted, you will take on new projects, you will move your home, you will meet new neighbors, you will get married, you will have children, your children will change and grow older, your children willl move to college, you will retire, and I could go on forever. Your life does not stop changing as the school year stops changing. That is just silly. And finally, as people grow older, they desire change less and less. At a certain point in your life, people WANT a steady job, and a long, faithful marriage to ONE person. OK? ok.

That's not to say that people don't get bored with their lives - they do. But people do that now too..and that's why they change them. Yes it gets harder to change your life as you get older, but it's entirely possible, and well, the point of your entire youth is to change things until you figure out exactly what you want from life, find it, catch it, and then once you find it, never let *that* go.

I know, and I agree. I guess it's just hard to believe that one day I'll feel that way.
