This is actually a poem by Lucille Clifton about Lorena Bobbitt cutting John Wayne Bobbitt's penis off, hence the title. We analyzed it in one of my English classes yesterday, and it amused me because we all thought it was about different things - murder, suicide, etc. before the true context was revealed to us. I posted it to see what kind of reactions others would give it. Nothing dire here, but thank you for the concern. :)
