Yesterday was Tom and my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! I had such an excellent day, it was all so perfect! For those of you interested... I will have our day (In summary of course) with pictures behind the cut.
First, Tom came to my house and woke me up with breakfast in bed. It was adorable, he gave me eggs and toast, and the toast was shaped like hearts. It was so cute. So I ate, and then we cuddled for a couple mintutes in my bed. Then, he went downstairs with my mom while I showered and got ready. When I got out of the shower, he told me we were going somewhere. Keep in mind, I had no idea what we were doing all day. So I grabbed my gift for him, and then we dropped it off at his house (He didn't get to look at it yet) and then we went on a "Walk to Remember." It was adorable. We live by a park, and we walk around it alot... So he took me to all the memorable spots in our relationship, and gave me a little speech about all each one. It was so cute. Then we went back to his house, and sat and talked for alittle. Then I gave him his gift. It was a scrap book, with pictures, diary entries (My entries, that had to deal with dates with him, things dealing with him, etc) and ticket stubs, song lyrics, poems I wrote, everything to pretty much sum up our one year together. And of course at the end I did 365 reaons why I love him, for a year. And I wrote him a letter.. Picture, below.
^^ This is just a shot of a collage of my little kid pictures, and the started of the "365 Reaons Why I love you"...
So, we looked at that for awhile. Because he wanted to look at it, and I loved seeing his reaction as he read some things. It was adorable. And then, we went upstairs because his parents and brother left. And he made me go on a "Heart hunt" ... I had to look for 30 hearts cut out of construction paper. Each of them were numbered. And every 5th heart I found, meant something. Once I found all 30 I got my first part of my gift. So he had me clothes my eyes, and he gave me a stuffed animal - Horse. So he had me lay down on the couch and cuddle it, and then he came over and started reading me "Goodnight Moon." Wow.. that was adorable. This part will make little sense to anyone, but its important and VERY meaninful to us, so I don't wish to explain it. Picture, below.
Then, after that we went downstairs again, and layed down for a bit, and he gave me monopoly pieces he made me.. and changed.. like he made "Boardwalk" into something else. He did those for every spot on the sport, except 2. (The utilities) That was so cute. And then he had me go upstairs, where sitting on his kitchen table was spagetti and meatballs and his chicken stuff. (I never remember the name of it) He went on to tell me this was the first meal we ever had together, alone. When we went to Canino's together. He had gone to Caninos and bought it, and brough it home for us... I thought it was the cutest thing. And then we ate, and had sparkling cider. It was tasty!
And then, he told me I had to change into my swin suit. Which he had, because my mom gave it to him the night before. So I changed in to, VERY confused as to why I needed a suit. He blind folded me, and we got in his car.. And he started driving. I was complaining to know where we were going, and finally he was like "Fine, you don't need to know. I don't need to suprise you." And did a quite obvious U-Turn I could feel we were going back. He took me to my house. He said we were dropping off my stuff (Clothes, horse and book) and so we went in. And then I was like "Where were you going to take me?" He didn't answer for a bit, and then was like "Want to try this again?" I agreed and he blindfolded me again, and picked me up. When he un-blind folded me, we ended up infront of my basement door. We opened it, and there was rose pedals on the floor... Leading me up to a kiddie pool filled with water, and two roses floating in the water, and on the other side sand (on a tarp) and roses lining the sand, and a pink towel on the sand. With a sign he made out of water labeled "Savannah Beach." OMG, I was tearing up when I looked at it. He told me the signficance of it. And the reason he choose to do that was because my idea of a perfect day involves a beach - And we don't have any beaches in Colorado, so he decided to bring a beach to me. I thought it was the cutest thing in the world. I loved it! I still love it. And I couldn't stop smiling! Oh and the "Savannah Beach" title... Is a huge joke between us. I just love it!
So, we got into the pool.. It was a bit chilly, and just sat in it for a little bit. It was so cute! And then when I got too cold, we got out! We took lots of pictures, and then got changed back into our clothes, and went to get the pictures done. And then, we also had to go get a custom frame. Because when we got home together (which makes it even more special) we put the monopoly pieces he gave me on a real monopoly board, and then in the middle of the board we put a collage of the pictures from the day, and we took pictures of the things we gave eachother on the board, and put it in the collage. Then we put it in the frame, and it was done! I also hung the Savannah beach sign on my wall.
Then, for the rest of the night we cuddled until he had to go home. I LOVED it. I had such a great night, and I just couldn't stop smiling. I love that guy, god, he is amazing! I can't even describe the feeling I had the entire day, it was just so wonderful...
I will have to post another entry with pictures, because there isn't enough room in this entry. So, more pictures - Coming soon.
