Was a good event, though I was in a wierd headspace for it, and unable to sink into Omi as fully as I'd have liked. Plus the heat did not help. So glad I play a human who's ok with wearing loose baggy clothes and randomly splashing water on myself. And I love Omi's silly hat.
- 'sneaking' around knocking out guards with a dagger. Am not good at that, but it was fun. :)
- having Duggin ask me to check the scroll before he read it. Was a little thing, and made sense, but it was cool for me nonetheless.
- fun figuring out a code in some books
- chatting with Thousand Roads about about a million things over the course of the weekend
- playing around in the Forest of Echos! The one-eyed guy looked really cool, but there was an obstacle course! Could not resist.
- hiding in a curtain to spy on people and being utterly convinced that I was going to get caught and murdered by the people who kept drifting by my hiding place close enough that they were making the curtain move around me (found out after the game that they legitimately had no idea I was there)
- long chat with Jayson about various things.
- talking to Valeria (and developing a deep and abiding hatred for
sensicalsmile's character.
- going down in the middle of the retreat (attempted retreat) from Let, and deciding I was as good as dead anyway, so I might as well go for it, and bolting past what seemed like half of plotstaff wearing headlights back to the PC lines. (Also, me and Rain escaping from the PC-trap that is the baseball backstop.)
- some extremely awkward interactions with Seraphiel (sure I'm spelling that wrong), and her mantling and hissing at Eldred when he exposed vampire. :)
- "For this, you will need to cooperate and work together" and having two members of the group immediately start bickering. Ah, cooperation.
- seeing Alle again, and meeting November. :-D Felt a bit bad for the people there who had no idea what was going on, though.
- water balloons are amazing when it's too hot out!
Edited to add: sitting around with the Guide/Guardian/Alastor exchanging dubious looks as the Lord of Murders described the process involved in trying to improve the situation in the Cursed Wood.
Fun times overall.
