Aralis event
So on Saturday I made it to the first full Aralis event I've managed to get to all season. Sure, it was a one-day, but both sarrciano and I were there for the whole thing! How exciting.
Anyway, had a good time, even though the heat and humidity was AWFUL. Did very little fighting, but really, was ok with that. (See: heat and humidity)
- Awful dreams. Coming to an agreement with someone that we were NOT going to obsess about them... and then obsessing about them.
- Having polite conversations with someone in the middle of town who is supposed to kill me. Multiple times, actually.
- the negotiation scorecards
- NOT getting inflicted by that fairy/bug...
- Getting to talk to the spirit in my bracers! So much fun. He was trying to be nice about it, but kept coming back to, "... but you're a priest..."
- a really neat interaction with Nakamura
- seeing poor Sir Phillip after Bane escaped. Looked like a wreck. I'm sure that won't go poorly.
- figuring out that we'd brought the right person into something.
- having the woman who served Aral stop by and go, "You know you're really fucked right? Like, really, really fucked. You should do something about that." (wildly paraphrased)
