Had a good time at the 5G event. Was hot, but not unbearably so. I ran around a lot and healed people and hit things and got a couple of compliments on my fighting (and have got proof of the spot on my arm that I don't block, via a nice bruise in that spot and nowhere else, :sigh:). Part of the problem is that the cures are *so* specific in this game, that
1. fighters aren't paying attention to what they're getting hit by other than to go 'I'm now weaknessed, couldn't resist it' and then blanking on the traits, which makes curing them harder; and
2. it doesn't occur to them that some of us can cure a weakness by aging by curing weakness, some by curing aging, and that it makes a difference.
3. they have no idea who to ask for what cures. Which is going to be a long slow learning process, cause it's complicated.

* I've found NPCs are usually willing to tell you what kind of traits will be thrown around. I asked Hollis what we could expect from the Twisted Path, and he told me, basically, Confusion.
And yeah, the semi-arbitrary trait categories are... something, all right.

I also have a Cure fear that I am unlikely to use unless it is a BIG effect.
It would be good if we could organize ourselves. It will take some time.
